Here’s the breakdown and the shakedown….
So obviously the point here is to make money. To take advantage of the discounts below you will have to hire my services for 1 hr (or more if you like!) Now that 1 hr not only gives you access to these discounts, but it will also give you great insight and guidance into choosing the products that best suit you, your home and your budget. I’ve calculated below what you’d need to spend in a store to make it beneficial (cover my 1 hr fee and start the savings!)
Flooring/Tile……..
- City Tile – 10%. This is great as their prices are already quite reasonable. While I don’t have to be in the store with you when you purchase the product, you have to order this product “through my account” to be able to take advantage of this discount.
Salespersons: I love them all (and the hunky boys working there are great too!)
- Slegg Lumber – I get great contractor rates on products like wood, laminate, tile, vinyl and cork. You can even use your 1 hr consult in the store, that way I can help you choose the right product for your project! The actual discount varies from product to product but money saved is like money made!
Tim and Bet – Flooring
Generally with these purchases you’re not just spending a few dollars, so regardless of what you’re purchasing it will be beneficial for you to hire my services for 1 hr (or more if you like!) so that you can take advantage of the discounts available.

- WestCoast Blinds and Shutters - http://westcoastsbc.com/ This is a great family owned business and Allan and Evelyn are passionate and knowledgeable about their products. (Hunter Douglas blinds, Shade-o-matic) as well as closet organizers, wallpaper and murphy beds.
The rate varies from product to product, but the discount is significant enough to make a difference!

She also carries Hunter Douglas window coverings and gorgeous custom drapery hardware.

Once again, I don’t get a set discount here, but because I’ve sent them quite a bit of business over the years they are happy to take care of my clients when the profit margin allows. Sometimes this may just include taxes/delivery, but every little bit helps!
