This spare room was ready for an update. The homeowner’s love of purple was starting to feel oppressive, yet we didn’t want to lose the cool vibe
that purple offers. The Homemade Headboard – featured on my blog, was the foundation for this space. We chose to do the book rail effect, so that we could accent with purple rather than be overwhelmed by it. Using texture and shine on the lamps, toss cushions and accessories, this room now has the personality that the homeowner was looking for.
